TGS Stall Services, Inc. was started in 1991 by Keith Shidemantle.  Keith brings to his business over 50 years of horse knowledge and 30 years of building and design.

In his early years while showing horses  Keith saw a real need for a safe and portable horse stall.  At that time there were no portable horse stalls that could be moved and managed easily.  All portable stalls were made of wood slats, were heavy, bulky, hard to move and were dangerous to horses.  Taking his building experience and combining it with his lifetime of horse know-how he designed the TGS Portable Horse Stall, making it a safer more lightweight box stall.

After designing his first portable stall and showing it to his neighbors and local horsemen his concept took off.  Those first few years he supplied many portable stalls to local fairs and 4-H groups, thus introducing them to his design.

A few years later his wife Peggy, left her corporate advertising job and along with their son Travis, entered the business making TGS Stall Services, Inc. a family owned and operated business located in Northwestern Pennsylvania.

In 2004, Laurie Whitling rejoined the staff at TGS Stall Services.  After leaving Keith in 1993 as a fabricator and installer to start her own family and obtain her Associates Degree in Accounting, she returned to the office.  Having the experience in the field and shop, along with her horse knowledge and having used our stalls for her own use, Laurie has proven an asset to our company and customers.
